From these two images you can see the challenges that faced the Missing Research section.
You have to remember that the work was carried out over 3 years after the crew were lost.
They had clearly found Arthur Bell's name and partial service number (826 of the complete 1050826), there were 3 sergeants, one of whom had a partial service number 515206 (part of John Stanley's number of 1575206).
The detective work of this section was quite remarkable
